The overworld

THE SOUL OF THE EARTH

"I had lost the way in, but one autumn, under a pile of leaves, in the hollow of a tree, I found it again, and the sovramondo opened up once more before my eyes, perfectly intact, blazing with colour.

"The sovramondo is neither a dream nor a fantasy, but a perceptive reality superimposed on the real world, accessible to anyone who seeks it.

The sovramondo is full of peaceful animals, flowers and leaves, colours and ever-changing emotions.

The sovramondois a world that loves humanity and is in perfect harmony with it.

First and foremost, the sovramondois the peace of the soul, spiritual and mental rest. It is that symbiosis with Nature that we humans so badly need, because it is after all, our Garden of Eden, finally rediscovered.

The colors of animals

...I don't remember hearing footsteps... but an image looked at me while I bent over drawing an animal on the sand of a beach. I played with it for hours on that large beach that ended in the sea ...I didn't quite understand if the image that looked at me smiling wanted to be portrayed, immortalized in a painting square, with precise classic measurements, then I looked for pigments, glues, brushes and started a drawing that photographs in the smallest details what my eyes saw. This is what I see and find in the colors of Malossi, where the artist seeks and finds the soul hidden nature of SOULS as animate beings and of their living bodies. In the meticulous, scientific work, the artist, with maniacal precision without smudging, reveals through the external skin and the feathers the outline of a living "being" who wants to live in the creativity and hidden beauty of his thinking of himself as a living "Nature". Scientific training and the study of architecture are found in his studies to arrive at the final product built as a house, whose boundaries are the external design of the animals. Looking and observing his works one finds precious stones, "diamonds" that emanate light and eternity, living stones that represent all the values of life. Animals are symbols that accompany us in our lives in our parties and celebrations, in the animals painted by Malossi I see, I find spirituality and a meeting between languages and cultures.
